FAQ
Answers to what sellers ask us most.
Is this affiliated with Etsy?
No. We're an independent monitoring tool. Etsy doesn't endorse us and we have no inside information. We read the public policy pages exhaustively, the same as you could.
How much does an appeal letter cost?
Free users pay $5 per letter at generation time. You can save drafts for free and work on them indefinitely — the $5 charge only happens when you click to generate and preview the final letter. Pro users pay $10 per month for unlimited letters.
What happens after I generate a letter?
You get the full letter immediately — no waiting. Copy it, then submit it yourself at etsy.com/appeals (or wherever your marketplace directs you). We don't file it on your behalf.
Can I cancel Pro?
Yes, one click from your Billing page. Access continues until the end of the billing period you already paid for.
Why was the listing scanner removed?
We built a listing compliance scanner and applied to Etsy for API access. Etsy denied the application. We won't operate a scanner without official API access — scraping would be fragile and against Etsy's terms. Rather than ship something unreliable, we removed it entirely and focused on the appeal builder, which doesn't require API access.
How do you know when Etsy changes a policy?
We monitor Etsy's published help and policy pages every day. When something changes, our team reviews the diff, writes a plain-English summary of what it means for sellers, and emails Pro subscribers. The summaries focus on what to do (e.g. 'update your handmade declarations on listings X and Y'), not just what changed. Free users see the changes in our public Policy library on their next visit.
Will you read my emails?
Not right now. Email forwarding is not yet available — that feature is in our roadmap but not deployed. Today, you paste the relevant text from your suspension notice directly into the appeal wizard.
Do you guarantee my appeal will be accepted?
No. We write a strong appeal from cases that have worked for other sellers, applied to your specific situation. Your marketplace makes the final call.
What about Amazon, Shopify, or eBay?
Planned next, once Etsy support is solid.
Why aren't more features on the Free plan?
Generating an appeal letter costs us real money in AI inference. The $5 fee covers that cost on Free; Pro covers it via the monthly subscription. The Policy Library is free for everyone — that's the most valuable thing we offer at no cost.
I'm a developer — can I run it myself?
Not today. We're focused on making it work for non-technical sellers first.
