Privacy Policy

This is what we collect, why we collect it, and the controls you have over it. We do not sell or share your data. We keep the smallest amount of information we need to run the service.

What we collect

• Account data. Your email address (from Google or a one-time code sent to your inbox), and a name or avatar if you choose to add one. We also store your timezone and notification preferences.
• Billing. Payments are handled by Stripe. We store a customer reference and your subscription status. We never see or store your card details.
• Appeal drafts.Saved on your device via your browser's localStorage. We do not have a copy on our servers until you click Generate, at which point only the structured form values used to produce the letter are stored — not the rendered output.
• Usage data. Basic page-view counts. No cookies for tracking, no pixels, no third parties watching you.

How we use it

We use your data to run the service you signed up for. That is all. We do not sell, rent, or share it with anyone else.

Your rights

• Deletion. Email hello@shopkeepsentry.com from your registered address; we delete your data within 7 days.
• EU and UK users. You have additional rights under local law. Email us and we will handle your request.
• California users. You have the same effective controls described above.

Cookies

One cookie, used to keep you signed in. No tracking cookies. No third-party pixels.

How long we keep your data

• Policy snapshots. Kept indefinitely as reference material. They contain no personal data about you.
• Account data. Kept until you close your account. Once we process your closure request, removed within 7 days.
