Sellers must consistently ship within their stated processing times

Sellers must specify their shipping costs and processing times in their listings, and ship items promptly after they are sold. If you can't get the order in the mail by the last day of your processing time, you must extend the processing time officially through the Orders page, or cancel the order.

How to stay compliant

  1. Review all your active listings and update processing times to accurately reflect how long it takes you to make and ship each item.
  2. For custom or personalized items, set processing times that include production time — not just shipping time.
  3. If you receive an order you cannot ship within your stated time, extend the processing time through Shop Manager > Orders before the deadline passes.
  4. Consider enabling 'Shipping notifications' so buyers are informed automatically when their order ships.
