What Etsy says

Any item that has been recalled either by the government or manufacturers may not be sold on Etsy. Examples of recalled items include certain vintage Corning Ware percolators, lawn darts, and drop side cribs.

How to stay compliant

1. Delist any item identified on the CPSC recall database (cpsc.gov/recalls) or subject to a known manufacturer recall.
2. Search the CPSC database for the product's make, model, and year before relisting similar vintage products.
3. Do not relist a recalled item with a disclaimer such as 'for display only' — Etsy's prohibition applies regardless of stated use.
