How to stay compliant
- Identify all listings for items produced with a laser cutter, 3D printer, CNC router, or Cricut/Silhouette machine.
- For each listing, confirm the design file was created by you (or your shop team) from scratch — not downloaded, purchased, or adapted from a template service.
- Remove listings where the design was sourced from a third-party design marketplace (Creative Fabrica, Design Bundles, etc.) unless you can demonstrate substantial original transformation.
- Update listing descriptions to describe your own design process and any software you used to create the original design.
- Keep documentation (source files with creation timestamps) proving original authorship in case Etsy requests it during a review.
